≪Product description≫
A cabochon bead made of scolesite in a gentle color with salmon pink needles on a white background.
It is an interesting material with no same pattern because each grain has a different needle shape.
Contains grains with chatoyancy (cat's eye effect).
Scholesite is a soft stone with low hardness. Please handle with care.
Double-sided tape is attached to the back of the cardboard so that it is easy to see. After receiving the product, gently remove the double-sided tape so that the fibers do not come off.
The white ground color is scholesite, which is a type of zeolite and is a needle-like mineral. Boiling stones are called "boiling stones" because they produce bubbles when heated. The English name "zeolite" also comes from the Greek word meaning "to boil".
Among zeolites, if sodium is added, it is divided into natrolite, if calcium is added, it is divided into scolesite, and mesolite, which is intermediate between natolite and scolesite.
