≪Product description≫

Lapis lazuli plain marron shape beads with lustrous azure color.
It is an impressive product with a deep lapis lazuli color that has almost no noticeable white parts. In rare cases, grains with the depressions of the ore on the surface are included.

It is a stone known for its deep blue color since ancient times as it is made by crushing lapis lazuli and dissolving the refined powder to make it a natural pigment. It is the birthstone for December.

《Handling》

In rare cases, a part of Lapis may turn black.
The reason for this is thought to be that the pyrite (phlogopite) in lapis chemically reacts with sebum and moisture (including in the air), turning it black.

As a preventive measure, we recommend wiping off dirt with a soft cloth after use and storing it in a sealed storage bag.
