≪Product description≫

These nugget beads are made by shaping lapis lazuli, which looks like a slice of the night sky, into thin diamonds or rectangles, and then finely step-cutting them.
In the case of normal nuggets, the holes are put in the long side, but this one is perpendicular to the largest surface.

It is a stone known for its deep blue color since ancient times as it is made by crushing lapis lazuli and dissolving the refined powder to make it a natural pigment. It is the birthstone for December.

《Handling》

In rare cases, a part of Lapis may turn black.
The reason for this is thought to be that the pyrite (phlogopite) in lapis chemically reacts with sebum and moisture (including in the air), turning it black.

As a preventive measure, we recommend wiping off dirt with a soft cloth after use and storing it in a sealed storage bag.
